Veltech group of educational institutions was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service. Dr.R.Rangarajan and Dr.R. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing industries and international trade. What took off as a modest school now stands as a monument of glory for “Chennai city”. A student volume of above 12,000 throng the various educational institutions of VEL TECH group.
This two year M.Tech differs from the any traditional control/measurement courses in the specialisation, content & the delivery system. This course is offered in association with Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI), a premier research institute under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India. The students will be trained in advanced digital methodologies involved in measurements & control and in the second phase of the course the students will be trained specially on flow related controls and data acquisition systems. For the second phase of the course (third semester) the students will be deputed to FCRI which has the state of art facilities in Modern Digital Flow Measurements & Control. The students completing this course have the ability to design and develop systems for modern digital controls and hence have the potential to be on floor from day one.
