The rapid growth of IT in non computer fields has increased the demand for professionals familiar on computer architecture, programming, hardware design, applications of computers in unorthodox areas such as computer based monitoring and control, data acquisition, Human-Machine interface, Machine- Machine Interface. This requires a curriculum which is multifaceted and multi disciplinary and which can satisfy the above requirements. Hence the University in association with Center for Development of Advanced Computing ( CDAC) announced a 2 year PG programme in CSE which specially concentrates on the earlier discussed areas and also emphasizing on Research and Development activities in Computer Engineering & Technology. The students graduating from this course will find their place in industries ranging from aviation to traditional software industries. This course also minimises the training time and expense inquired by the industry to train the students.
