The university has several unique tie ups with foreign Universities, industries, research institutions in India and abroad. The aim is to be build a highly enriched reservoir of managerial and technically qualified man power. P.G. programes with ARAI, CDAC, SAIL, TATA STEEL ,TAFE ,FCRI are some of the unique industry linked programs .
The increase in the number of LMV’s & HMV’s in India, the growing automotive industries and their contribution to the GDP has raised demand for the Specialised automobile engineers in the areas of Research as well as production which sourced our University to introduce a two year Post Graduate course on Internal Combustion Engines in association with Automotive Research Association of India, a premier research institutes under the ministry of heavy Industries, Govt. of India. The students will be trained on advanced IC engines design & development, design of power trains, automotive fuels & emission and next generation technologies such as hydrogen engines, super charging & turbo charging. The students will be studying general core subjects in Vel Tech & specialised core subjects in ARAI facility. The trained students will not only have the knowledge to design and develop IC engines but also to test and approve the same.
